Individual Values=Team Values=Company Values
Our individual values represent our principles and standards and help others see what we consider important in life. But how does an organization determine its core values? Actually the leaders and the associates determine the values in an organization. This workshop will guide the participant through a core values assessment. You will walk away from this workshop with clarity regarding your personal core values and with a tool you can utilize within your organization to help determine the values of your team.
Forming Your Personal Board of Directors
A personal board of directors is a group of people who you consult with regularly for counsel and guidance. Just like any good board, the people you choose should bring a variety of perspectives and should challenge you to be the ‘best you’. This workshop will provide guidance on selecting the right mix of individuals for your personal board and will give information on how a personal board of directors can assist you in achieving both your personal and professional goals.
ESCAPE: Creating Quiet in a Busy World
There is so much ‘noise’ in our lives that we have little time to think. The always accessible, full calendar, busy pace we live produces a cluttered mind and a reactive style. Many of the greatest thinkers spent time in solitude to both recharge and to allow the creative process to flow in their minds. This workshop will provide strategies for carving out quiet space in your day or week to clear your mind and renew your soul.
Strategies for Building Trust within your Organization
Patrick Lencioni observes that an environment of trust is the foundational characteristic of a team’s success. This workshop will explore strategies for building trust in organizations through the creation of an environment where individuals can be comfortable taking risks, and be open about their failures, weaknesses and fears.
Managing and Motivating Your Team for Optimal Results
Your team needs a leader who will help them establish goals that allow them to make a difference in their workplace. This workshop will provide tools to set clear objectives for your team that align with your organization’s goals. We will also explore techniques to monitor progress and results.
Conflict Management Styles and Strategies
Conflict is a natural part of our interactions with others. This workshop will utilize the TKI assessment to provide feedback on how you behave in conflict situations. This assessment measures behavior along two dimensions: assertiveness and cooperativeness. With a greater understanding of how you handle conflict you can more effectively navigate conflict situations and move toward healthy conflict.
The Utilization of Creativity in Problem Solving
Most of us are capable of being more creative than we demonstrate in our daily work environment, however, many of us have been taught to be restrained, risk averse, or overly conservative. This workshop will provide strategies for lifting those restraints in order to tap into the creativity that exists inside us and to utilize this creativity for more effective problem solving.
